Tasks & Responsibilities
This role will be the frontline and face of the organisation. You will be required to positively, confidently and proficiently attend to the full spectrum of ICT service desk requirements remotely, whilst undertaking some onsite visits when required. A typical day in the role could include:
- Responding to queries via phone, email and onsite
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems
- Resolving faults with desktops, servers, networks and other computer systems
- Performing proactive maintenance
- Following up with clients to ensure full resolution of issues
- Requesting feedback and/or monitoring calls and other methods of correspondence to improve training methods
- Writing, editing, and revising training manuals for new and updated software and hardware
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in a similar Managed Services or enterprise service desk role (Minimum of 3+ years' experience)
- Relevant ICT qualifications
- Demonstrated experience providing support in Level 2+ roles
- Strong experience in Microsoft 365 implementations and support
- Experience with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Remote Desktop and virtualization technologies.
- Experience working with cyber security technologies and frameworks
- Strong knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems
- Experience with backup systems
- Understand network fundamentals skillset across switching, routing and security
- Experience with 3CX and other Voice over IP (VOIP) technologies
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote monitoring and management software
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
