The Position
Working under a Program Manager and in conjunction with the project team, the Deployment Technician will provide services and support to successfully contribute to the commissioning activities associated to the CSB project.
The role will be required to drive activities associated with the procurement, asset tracking, staging, deployment, testing and transition to business as usual of end user devices for the project.

The Deployment Technician will be responsible for
• Stage and deploy of end user devices, initially for the newly constructed Critical Services Building(CSB) .
• Update and maintain of Jira Assets in relation to End User Devices.
• Create and maintain of documentation required by the CSB project to support the operational commissioning of end user devices.
• Support the deployment of end user devices based on training materials.
• Maintain all required project documentation including run sheets and creation of reports.
• Drive technical and integration testing of end user devices and function as a liaison point for application and user acceptance testing.
• Participate in a communication strategy to support the operational commissioning of end user devices.
• Participate as part of a team of technical resources to support the operational commissioning of end user devices.
• Report to project manager regarding early awareness of issues and problems.
Essential
- Proven technical ability to deliver hardware and software components in a challenging health ICT environment and have the ability to escalate with more complex ICT support issues to ensure positive outcomes for clients.
- Well-developed problem solving, self-management and organizational skills including the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities.
- A+ Certification highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to persevere in difficult situations, overcome obstacles and reach high levels of performance when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures.
- High-level interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with a range of internal/external clients, stakeholders, and service providers, with well-developed team and representational skills.
