About the team – The Cyber and IT Support team are engaged, passionate and adventurous– we’re committed to developing strong partnerships and focused on enabling business outcomes. About the role – Provide responsive, professional and client-focused front-line technical assistance to ASC technology users, answering queries on common technical issues, tracking and escalating more complex incidents and requests. Work with all areas of ICT to ensure technology services align with defined performance standards and procedures.
1. Under direction from team managers, deliver the Section/Programme operational agenda to achieve business outcomes. This includes:
• Provide professional, reliable and responsive telephone, written and face-to-face support for ASC ICT services.
• Draft written responses to clients using agreed formats and structured guidelines including providing technical support in specific areas of program/project work.
• Work effectively and cohesively with team members, share knowledge, and look for opportunities to improve business processes.
• Drawing on advice from supervisors, use problem solving skills and attention to detail to troubleshoot issues and find workarounds.
• Maintain service and procedure documentation.
• Develop and maintain customer knowledge bases supporting self-service support outcomes.
• Effectively manage client and partner relationships.
• Escalate issues through the correct channels in a timely manner.
• Perform typical technical support tasks such as computer deployments, IT installations, account creations & management, Active Directory management, work-station set up and office moves.
• Assist in the management of corporate assets and IT equipment.
• Provide support to non-standard requests on short notice as well as supporting executive staff.
2. Actively participate in the implementation and delivery of policies, guidelines and other resources to achieve business outcomes for ASC.
3. Assist other parts of Technology or the wider organisation as required.

About you – You will have:
• Ability to work in dynamic and collaborative team-based approach, who enjoy solving challenging problems and that seek to build strong and lasting connections between teams.
• Experience in customer service or relevant experience working with a range of different stakeholders.
• Ability to take ownership of escalated issues and coordinate with appropriate resources to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Ability to document, track, monitor, follow up and prioritise customer support requests to ensure a timely resolution.
This position is offered as an FIXED TERM position until 5 April 2025 with the possibility of being extended or made ongoing.
