Working with the Service Delivery Governance Unit, the Performance and Reporting, Systems & Support Officer (AutumnCare Testing and Support) assists in ensuring a robust clinical and operational governance and quality framework is in place across St Vincent’s Care. The role will assist in ensuring compliance with Australian Aged Care Quality Agency Accreditation Standards and that all risks are managed as part of the quality framework.

This position will work collaboratively with the Service Delivery Governance Unit to get the best outcomes for our consumers and staff. The Performance and Reporting, Systems & Support Officer (AutumnCare Testing and Support) also works closely with the Digital and Technology team and liaises with the application vendor(s) to fulfill the key aims of the position.

Seeking a Registered Nurse with aged care experience, a quality/continuous improvement mindset and excellent IT systems skills for this 9-month maternity leave position, commencing July 2024.  This is a part-time position (8am-4pm business days with some out of hours for project work) and offers fantastic work-life flexibility, with hybrid working arrangements (Bowen Hills Office- Residential Aged Care Facilities- working from home). You will also have the benefit of working within a friendly and Supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities of the role: 

  • Assisting with the governance of the performance of the care management system (AutumnCare system).

  • System Training and Support to SVC Homes.

  • Supports the Team Leader in the identification of new initiatives to improve sustainability in the unit.

  • Development of the test scripts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Under leadership of the Team Leader understanding and working on the strategy plan and test plans to ensure the delivered solution meets the requirements and deliverables of the user.

  • Develop and maintain the User Guide and Procedure (Business Process).

  • Support management of policies & procedures.

  • Data collection for reporting.

  • Customised system report on request.

  • Support for other Services Delivery Governance teams’ requirements or systems.

Things that work for us: 

  • Registered Nursing Degree with unrestricted AHPRA registration

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential aged care.

  • Comprehensive understanding of aged care Quality Standards.

  • Proficiency in clinical management systems (ideally AutumnCare System) and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience in back-end build tools to support a care management system.

  • Stakeholder management, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

  • Experience in implementing a care management system or upgrades – adherence to schedule and scope.

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work both as a team player and on their own.

  • Energetic, dynamic, with effective time management skills.

  • Current National Police Certificate.

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role

  • Willingness to travel as needed
