This is a diversified Australian property development company. It has business in shopping centres, residential estates, industrial estates and manufactured housing communities.
Position Description:
- Provide specialist project management expertise from project inception to completion.
- Support development teams in creating and monitoring project plans against time, cost and quality requirements.
- Ensure projects are scoped, designed, built and delivered on time, budget and to required quality specification.
- Provide specialist project management tools, resources and advice to support large and complex projects through to completion.
- Assist in the preparation of delivery strategies for major staged subdivision and mixed use developments.
- Assist with providing project management R&D and the sharing of best practice across the business.
- Facilitate, manage and drive efficiency through project cost plans in partnership with Development Managers, authorities, consultant and contractors to realise cost savings.
Position Requirements:
- Extensive Project Management experience with demonstrated successful outcomes in the delivery of civil Infrastructure Projects
- Extensive experience managing construction teams and relevant consultants
- Demonstrated commercial/financial acumen
- Proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skills
- Proven understanding of project management best practice, tools, techniques, market trends and product innovation
- Experience and understanding of the development construction industry design, building and construction
