Position Overview:As an Industrial Engineer specializing in Solar and construction at Pilecom, you will play a critical role in optimizing construction processes, improving productivity, and ensuring cost-effectiveness across our projects. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of construction projects, from solar farms to infrastructure developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of construction processes, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative solutions to streamline construction workflows, minimize waste, and enhance productivity.
- Design and optimize construction layouts, logistics plans, and equipment utilization strategies to maximize efficiency on-site.
- Provide technical expertise and support for the adoption of advanced construction technologies such as prefabrication, modular construction, and robotic automation.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive alignment across the project team.
- Organising and managing project labour and the delivery of materials, plant and equipment
- Establishing standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations
- Inspecting plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field required;
- 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
