SalaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Engineer to join our optimisation team. The successful candidate will apply their engineering expertise to enhance operational effectiveness, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement throughout our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse workforce utilization, facility layout, and operational data to determine optimal worker and equipment efficiencies;
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity;
- Conduct time and motion studies, work sampling, and establish labour utilization standards;
- Design and optimize facility layouts to improve flow, capacity, and space utilization;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate areas of duplication and inefficiency;
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, policies, and quality control measures;
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions;
- Manage projects related to process improvement, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets;
- Coordinate with maintenance providers to ensure optimal performance of facilities and equipment;
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, preferably with experience in a logistics or warehousing environment;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and innovatively;
- Ideally proficient in using statistical analysis tools, simulation software, and databases;
- Experience with process improvement methodologies;
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
