Only Australian Citizens are eligible to apply.About the RoleThe APS5 Information Management position involves conducting various tasks related to information, records, and knowledge management. The role requires performing procedural, clerical, administrative, and operational duties that support the objectives of creating a leading insurance scheme for people with disabilities.As a team member, this position is responsible for organizing workflows and making independent decisions within their area of responsibility. It may also involve team leadership duties, such as setting priorities and allocating tasks to lower-level team members. Key responsibilities include maintaining and applying specialist knowledge of legislative obligations related to records and information management, contributing to policy development, providing specialist advice, monitoring activities, assisting with training and support, and participating in information management improvement projects. Responsibilities may evolve based on current priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining, applying, and disseminating specialist knowledge of legislative obligations relating to records and information management.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of policies and processes to ensure records and information management compliance.
- Providing specialist information management advice and recommendations to individuals and teams across the agency.
- Monitoring information management activities within the agency.
- Assisting with training, advice, and support on the agency’s records management system.
- Contributing to various information management activities and improvement projects.
