About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader - Information and Records Management the core responsibilities include:
- Carry out system administration on Objective EDRMS and other activities as appropriate.
- Ensuring accurate distribution of tasks to appropriate teams and/or officers within the Shire’s electronic document & records management system (EDRMS) (Objective).
- Assisting with classifying and registering scanned documents and electronic correspondence in an accurate manner.
- Help colleagues in Governance & Legal Units with document discovery searches as requested and collating documents as directed by the Team Leader.
- Contribute towards managing the Records Helpdesk and triage enquiries to other team members as appropriate.
- Supporting the Information Management team’s compliant records’ disposal program.
- Support the work undertaken by the Information Management Unit, and become a reliable all-rounder, sustaining consistently high output during busy times.
About You
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within local government (highly desirable)
- Experience in using an EDRMS, including carrying out systems admin tasks.
- Experience in applying PROV standards to records management administration
- Keen attention to detail and high-quality data entry skills
- Understanding of a Business Classification Scheme and the ability to carry out systems administration in line with the BCS
