The RoleThe Information Management Officer registers, archives, and disposes of correspondence for the Town, ensuring compliance with procedures and laws. They assist staff with queries, ECM training, and document retrieval. This position also collaborates with the Information Management team to offer excellent customer service, liaising internally and externally for records management. Selection CriteriaEssential:Previous experience working with Local Government records and administrative processes in an office environment. Previous experience in Freedom of Information requests is advantageous. Excellent written and communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft computer applications and an understanding of Records Management System – Enterprise Content Management ECM. Demonstrated attention to detail to support data input relevant to document control. The ability to follow established procedures, organise workload and respond to shifting priorities. Highly regarded:Current qualifications in Information Management or similar.Previous experience with records or Information Management.
