About the position
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is seeking a proactive, highly organised and motivated person to join our team in Information Management on a permanent basis. The Information Management Officer will be responsible for assisting with the management of organisational records, information and document management systems to ensure the effective and efficient storage, security, confidentiality, retrieval and disposal of information, in line with regulatory requirements. The Information Management Officer will also have the opportunity to deliver training sessions on record keeping for new and existing employees and undertake records management and information projects as required. The Information Management Officer needs to possess a high degree of autonomy, efficiency and commitment to completing tasks in a proactive and timely manner as set out in the position description.

About you
You are highly motivated, a team player and able to plan and prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail. You also possess excellent written and verbal communication, high level organisational and time management skills, as well as superior customer services skills.
Ideally, you will have worked in a local government record keeping department, but training or upskilling can be provided for the right candidate.

Total Package
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
This position ranges between $64,321 to $68,018
