We are looking for an Advisor - Technology Business Management to collaborate with IT leaders, Customers, and Finance/Procurement on IT Total Cost of Ownership, financial metrics, cost transparency, and optimisation opportunities.

Reporting to the Manager - Business Management Office and working in a collaborative community within Office of the CIO division, you will:
- Work with Finance and Service Owners to analyse financial and service data inputs from all financial and IT information systems to maintain the effectiveness of the IT Financial Management (ITFM) toolset.
- Identify and document requirements for Cost Model and ITFM improvements that increase trust and transparency of consumption and unit cost of IT Services/Products.
- Collaborate to ensure cost optimisation is embedded into processes, reporting, and management routines in IS&T
- Coach those involved in cost optimisation initiatives on best practice for implementing sustaining changes, including benefit realisation.
What you'll bring
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Information Technology, or related field
- 5 years' experience in relevant field or role
- Strong leadership and organizational management skills - capable of motivating and influencing organizations or teams to deliver desired results
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively with multiple levels of management and staff across the organisation
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills
- Experience in delivery of performance optimisation/improvement programmes
- Experience in the use of information systems and financial management systems to analyse financial and operational performance, with strong analytic and modelling skills
- Identify and propose improvements to IT Financial Management cost models to improve decision support analysis and accuracy
- Knowledge of contract management and procurement practices
- Technology Business Management Certification (executive or finance & Business Management) is highly desirable
Experience working in ITIL or Service Management orientated organisations is highly desirable
