CITB is a whole-of-industry led organisation that provides support to attract, train and retain South Australian building and construction workers by providing leadership in training and skills development.
CITB is looking for a visionary Marketing and Communications Manager to lead our organisation into a new era of communication and engagement. This is a newly created role that will be instrumental in expanding how CITB communicates, engages with the industry, and manages key partnerships.
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Marketing and Communications Manager. You will be responsible for implementing marketing initiatives and working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Management team of CITB.
As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will spearhead the development of digital assets, social media presence, and website management. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that elevate our brand and engage our stakeholders effectively.
Key responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in content creation, implementing new branding, developing stakeholder strategies and community engagement initiatives
- Use exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with staff at all levels within organisation and external stakeholders
- Maximise CITB industry exposure and presence through Marketing and communication activities within budget requirements
- Anticipate, plan, and identify future Marketing and communication opportunities and channels
- Coordinate and develop Marketing and Communications material and activities for all functional areas
- Proactively demonstrate a commitment to WHS, putting the safety of your co-workers, visitors, clients, and yourself first every time
- Contribute to the success of our business through collaboration, high performance and working with respect
- Through industry research and awareness, adopt and implement continuous marketing improvement initiatives and activities.
Essential:
- 3 years+ experience with a relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant work experience in marketing communications including social media, websites, e-newsletters, and print materials
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and analytics including scheduling / META Reporting and Google Analytics
- Excellent written communication skills to produce a wide range of communication materials and the capability to simplify complex concepts for a variety of audiences
- Experienced in stakeholder and community engagement events
- Ability to manage complex projects, use sound judgement in decision making, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Background in event coordination in a team-based, multi-program environment.
Desirable:
- Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Canva.
