The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is seeking applicants who are interested in a career in data analytics or application management and reform.
This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time opportunities between 6 months and 2 years, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
This pool covers two positions: 617316 Infrastructure Applications Analyst and 615351 Infrastructure Data Analyst.
Position Profile:
For the Application Analyst role, the candidate/s would act as a super user, system developer, administrator and coordinator of all WACHS Infrastructure information systems, reviewing how system and business processes can improve to support compliance and business requirements.
We’re looking for people with:
- Strong analytical thinking and high attention to detail – to understand and synthesis complex business challenges, legislative and user requirements into system capabilities.
- A relationship building and continuous improvement mindset – enjoying engaging with others, taking staff on the change journey, co-designing system requirements and providing ongoing resources, training and support.
- Strategic thinking – who want to understand the big picture, to understand how system changes impact stakeholders and functions in a broader context and ensure business risks priorities shape technical delivery.
For the Data Analyst role, the candidate/s would deliver detailed analysis by linking data from different systems to deliver performance reporting and support executive decision making. The role would also support data reform projects to address data quality or compatibility challenges.
We’re looking for people with:
- A high attention to detail and passion for data – performing analysis on complex data and information to identify patterns, trends and issues to inform decision making.
- Interpersonal and presentation skills – tailoring conversations and reports to the understanding and level of detail stakeholders to communicate effectively.
- Autonomy and tenacity – with a drive to continuously learn and develop while solving business problems.
The following roles are within the Infrastructure & Environment directorate, which specialises in Infrastructure and Facility Management as well as Environment and Sustainability portfolios. These include asset and contractor management, biomedical, electrical and mechanical engineering, staff accommodation and business-wide environment and sustainability projects.
