About The Role:
The Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer is a member of the Infrastructure Support team providing expert (Level 3) support for the institute's IT Infrastructure. The primary role of the position is to manage the environment, project implementation and to provide support services to resolve incidents/problems and action customer requests while operating within the ITIL Framework.
We are excited about you because you have:

• Strong experience working at scale in a large organisation with multiple locations.
• Demonstrated experience with the following:

• Data Centre systems: VMware HCI
• Cloud Tech: Advanced level of Azure and Microsoft 365 administration
• Windows Servers: Exchange, group policies, DHCP, DNS and active directory
• Storage Management and Backup Systems
• Proactive monitoring and remediation work on infrastructure platforms
• Demonstrated experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Tertiary Degree in IT and relevant certifications
• Minimum three years' experience in an infrastructure and cloud services role
• Highly developed communication/interpersonal skills with a demonstrated record of strong commitment and achievement in meeting stakeholder needs
• Analytical and problem-solving ability, and capacity to devise, deliver and monitor practical solutions.
• Time management and organisational skills, including the ability to set project plans and manage key milestones and deliverables.
