The Infrastructure Lead role will manage the Infrastructure team as part of the broader UniFi Solution Development team. - Lead a team (up to 4 full time resources) to deliver the required application development activities in line with the agreed application development backlog
- Developing and managing a schedule for the delivery of the infrastructure
- Liaise with other members of the IS/IT team to utilise specific skills and co-ordinate deployment of infrastructure as part of the broader IS/IT environment
- Developing the design for all infrastructure elements required for the UniFi project, in conjunction with the team
- Installation of the necessary environments within the Thales Australia IS/IT environment
- Provide technical support to the team to facilitate all infrastructure activities
- Evaluate potential solutions and make appropriate recommendations
- Act as the Infrastructure Team interface to the broader UniFi project team
- Undergraduate Degree or relevant industry qualifications
- Experience in leading an IS/IT team delivering infrastructure to support a highly available and complex system
- Experience in the design of high performance computing, networking and storage systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills and experience
- Exposure to large scale ERP deployment projects
