About the role
Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members’ world better. As the Injury Management Adviserin our Insurance Growth and Partnership team, you'll establish and maintain the Group Life Insurance injury and rehabilitation framework.
Day to day, you’ll:
- Partner, promote, facilitate and coordinate best practice rehabilitation management, and assist with the implementation of safe, durable and cost-effective return to work strategies for our members.
- Provide expertise, coaching and guidance to our claims team as well as employers, health and medical practitioners and members, in relation to injury and rehabilitation management strategies and processes.
- Provide strategic advice on rehabilitation management for complex, high-risk claims.
- Improve results through educating, supporting and influencing all stakeholders through a variety of activities including case conferencing, worksite visits and home visits to assess member needs, functional status, rehabilitation potential and develop appropriate rehabilitation plans.
About you
You're a compassionate, strategic and customer focussed professional with experience in Injury Management or occupational health. You're an excellent communicator and use your negotiation skills to influence effectively. You'll ensure timely and effective return-to-work outcomes for our members with your commercial mindset.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, Nursing or a related field
- You are able to analyse complex data and identify opportunities for improvement
- You are great at coaching others to improve their knowledge and skills
- Experience in (Life) insurance would be preferred.
