Our model focuses on specialisation and segmentation by injury type and claim duration, enabling alignment of the right skillset to the right role. Key features of our model also include:

This role provides an exceptional opportunity to lead a team providing specialist support to claims teams, and grow your career in an exciting direction. In our expansion as a start up and disruptor to the current market, you will lend your experience to build and grow the technical expertise, operations and processes across the function, and drive innovation and strategy across Injury Management Services for GB.
How you'll make an impact
- Lead a team of experienced Injury Management Specialists, driving excellence and continuous improvement across the support function;
- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of our Injury Management and claims operations strategies;
- Analyse current and future Injury Management trends and needs and accurately assess claims operations functional responsibilities, competitive strengths and vulnerabilities;
- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of the Business Plan;
- Provide strategic direction as part of the NSW Operational Leadership Team to establish and refine the right Organisational Design which is fit for purpose;
- Execute plans relevant to the Injury Management Hub and Injury Management Advisors;
- Collaborate with claims teams and broader specialist functions, including Return to Work, Mental Health and Technical Support;
- Participate in a range of operational projects and business initiatives.
- Previous experience and qualifications in Injury Management in a senior capacity. Experience in a workers compensation or insurer setting is essential;
- Tertiary qualifications in allied health, such as exercise physiology, physiotherapy, nursing, etc;
- Demonstrated leadership experience;
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
- Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of organisation;
- A strategic mindset and approach to work;
- A strong sense of team and collaboration.
