The Opportunity
Insitu Pacific is currently searching for a Business Systems Analystto join the Brisbane team who will undertake background research, clarify customer requirements, analyze systems and procedures as well as refine their formulation and convert them to developable formats.
Responsibilities
The Business Systems Analyst acts as a main point of contact working with various groups within the company to provide support for enterprise system tools and processes. General tasks include:
Perform background research, clarify customer's requirements, analyze systems and procedures.
Review business requirements and deliverables, provide feedback and verify approved business requirements are comprehensive and meet business objectives and expectations.
Document, implement, monitor and enforce standards, guidelines, methodologies and processes.
Determine impacts to business requirements for change requests, administer required changes and follows up.
Troubleshoot and provide technical support and solutions to users.
Write test plans, configure and query applications and test to system requirements.
Monitor system effectiveness in satisfying user needs.
Experience/Qualifications
To be successful in this role:
Experience of 6-9 years with Bachelor's degree or 4-7 years with Master's degree
Ability to utilize technological tools (e.g., PC's, web sites) and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data relevant to workloads, responsibilities, problem identifications and resolutions
Works effectively and cooperatively with others; establishes and maintains good working relationships.
Knowledge of different IT disciplines (e.g., infrastructure, information, application, security, system management, system integration).
This position will focus on ERP tools and processes. Familiarity with Deltek ERP tools is desirable.
Experience supporting finance, human resources, trade compliance and purchasing functions in a government supplier, manufacturing environment is also desirable.
The successful candidate will require Australia citizenship to meet Australian Defence security requirements.
