Our dedicated team is committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients, and we are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inspections Officer to manage and complete property inspections within a portfolio in our Property Management division.
About the Role:
As our Inspections Officer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our property management services. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct and manage all aspects of property inspections, including entry condition reports, exit condition reports, and routine inspection reports. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of property care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed entry, exit, and routine property inspections.
- Completing and managing all associated administrative tasks, including report writing and documentation.
- Coordinating with property managers to schedule inspections and ensure timely completion.
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues and ensuring compliance with property standards.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with tenants and landlords.
- Managing key inventory and ensuring the security of all properties under management.
- Providing support and advice to the property management team regarding inspection-related matters.
About You:
- Proven experience in property inspections or a similar role within the real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and other relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- High level of organisation and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Current driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Real estate qualification or willingness to obtain one is highly regarded.
