Within this assignment you’ll be working with a range of subject matter experts and operations personnel to craft a variety of user profiles, redesigning face to face training courses, developing entirely new interactive e-learning courses and creating a range of varied training support materials including facilitator guides and storyboards that will underpin an exciting new program within the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify learning needs and objectives. Which will involve reviewing the target audience, their existing knowledge, skills, and tailored learning preferences.
- Developing instructional materials such as lesson plans, learning objectives, assessments, and instructional activities.
- Designing the overall structure and flow of the learning experience to ensure it meets the defined learning objectives.
- Selecting appropriate instructional strategies and delivery methods based on learning objectives, audience characteristics, and available resources.
- Integrating technology tools and platforms to enhance the learning experience.
- Designing assessments and evaluation strategies to measure learning outcomes and the effectiveness of the instructional materials.
- Working collaboratively with other members of the instructional design team, including graphic designers, multimedia specialists, and e-learning developers.
- An understanding of instructional design theory and adult learning principles, and the ability to critically evaluate learning objectives, content, and assessment strategies.
- The ability to create and organise instructional content effectively.
- Proficiency in delivering content ready for deployment as an e-learning resource.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and other educational technologies to effectively deliver and manage online learning content.
- Strong project management skills to plan, organise, and execute instructional design projects.
- The ability to analyse learning needs, evaluate existing instructional materials, and assess the effectiveness of instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate and influence.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and obstacles that may arise during the instructional design process.
