Position Summary
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking to appoint an Intake Worker to become a part of our Intensive Family Support Service Team at Underwood office on a 12 month, part-time contract, Monday to Wednesday and the working hours are between 9am and 2.30pm.
In this role you will be the first point of contact for families referred to the Intensive Family Support Service - Logan. This role includes but is not limited to, processing of inquiries and referrals, undertaking initial family needs assessment, determining eligibility criteria, seeking informed client consent, data entry in accordance with information privacy and confidentiality.
What you'll need
You will have a genuine commitment to helping people who are disadvantaged, as well as previous experience working with children and families in the child protection space. You will have a qualification within the human services field, an open QLD driver’s license and a working with children blue card (or the ability to obtain). Previous experience working inclusively with or as a part of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community would be highly regarded.
