We have a unique opportunity for an Integration Architect & Engineer to join Medibank's Digital and Ventures hub, working hands on our next generation of customer technology products.
In this role it will be your responsibility to deliver the solution design design-and contribute to the implementation of-end to end, scalable, customer solutions, along with small POCs, for the new ventures team. You will be working closely with product developers, designers, product owners, 3rd party vendors and other non-technical business stakeholders to manage the roadmap of our new ventures product offerings
Key Responsibilities:

• Management of the Digital and Ventures AWS environments
• Expert in designing, configuring, building, deploying and maintaining complete solutions within an AWS environment
• Expert in configuring, building, deploying and maintaining CI/CD pipelining for products
• Writing maintainable, secure and well-tested code
• Liase with internal and external stakeholders on projects and timelines
• Participate in agile ceremonies with a focus on delivering work on a 2-weekly sprint cadence

About you:

• Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in an AWS environment

• Experience working with AWS services, such as API Gateway, S3, Lambda
• 5+ years demonstrated experience in delivering customer-centric solution architecture engagements
• Strong understanding of architecture practises, standards, principles and methodologies and how to apply these pragmatically towards program delivery and solution architecture engagements
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, Next.js, Typescript and NodeJS, as well as backend technologies such as python, is a nice to have, but not essential
• Professional experience building, deploying and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working on POCs, small, large scale projects/environments, and an ability to make critical decisions to not compromise on quality
• Proven history of working with internal and external stakeholders
• Keen problem solver, someone that likes to get deep into complex issues
• History of working in small product teams, not to dissimilar to working for a product-focused start up
