My client is an established and reputable Chartered Accounting firm in Sydney's south. They are seeking an Intermediate Accountant and Senior Accountant looking to take the next step in their careers. They have a diverse range of clients from SMEs, high profile domestic clients and international subsidiaries.
Reporting to a Manager, you'll be applying your compliance knowledge to a variety of client groups including SMEs, family groups, SMSFs and investments whilst learning to value-add and gaining advisory experience. Some responsibilities include:
- Preparation of income tax returns, financial statements and BASs
- Preparation of FBT and CGT
- Calculation of Div7A loans
- Tax planning and forecasting
- Drafting advice on various tax issues including CGT, small business concessions, structuring, etc
- Review work of graduates
- Liaise with clients, creditors, solicitors, ASIC and the ATO when needed
Applicants:
- Intermediate: 2-3 years experience
- Senior: 4+ years’ experience
- CA/CPA studying or qualified
- Experience with dealing with clients (for senior applicants)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong business acumen
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
