AddressOur government client are currently looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst for an initial 12 month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the strategy and the changing needs of the organisation. Capture business requirements and underlying data needs.
- Translate subject-matter expert and stakeholder discussion into data and reporting products.
- Translate key data insights into value adding products.
- Articulate complex information into simple messages that can be consumed by key stakeholders with varied levels of data literacy.
- Design and build reports, dashboards and data products that support business processes and deliver business insight.
- Drive best practice across the Analytics Chapter to ensure consistent analytic methodology and approach.
- Mentoring and leading of junior analysts (0-2) One big difference to lots of lives.
- Data wrangling.
Requirements:
- Strong programming experience with SAS, SQL and Python.
- Experience working on enterprise cloud Data Lake projects.
- Process Mapping-Able to translate discussion into data flows and process documentation.
- Experience leading projects.
- Experience directing and mentoring junior analysts.
- Data wrangling experience.
- Working within project management frameworks, the tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Showcase good analytical and evaluating skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, stakeholder engagement and management.
- Team player, collaborative, and results driven.
- Experience working with fraud analytics would be highly desirable.
