Responsibilities
1. Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders, through effective communication and issues management; keep abreast of business initiatives and priorities to deliver timely and effective Internal Communications.
2. Develop and implement internal communication strategies and plans, aligned with the organisation and program area objectives, ensuring consistency and clarity.
3. Provide guidance and support to leaders in crafting and delivering Internal Communications, ensuring alignment with the organisation's values and goals.
4. Produce engaging and informative content across diverse Internal Communications channels including our intranet, newsletters, video, emails, and presentations to keep people informed and engaged.
5. Manage internal communication channels effectively, optimising consistent messaging, accessibility, usability, and reach. Monitor and report on internal communication; evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
6. Plan and execute initiatives to enhance employee engagement, including events, surveys, recognition programs, and internal campaigns, fostering a positive organisational culture.
7. Develop and deliver training sessions or resources to educate employees on effective communication practices, including writing skills, use of communication tools, and company messaging guidelines.
8. Ensure high-quality, accessible, inclusive communication consistent with external messaging.
Let's talk about you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Tertiary qualification in communications or a related discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience working in a similar role.
Demonstrated experience creating and publishing newsletters via Junglemail (or similar EDM platform).
Will have managed intranet sites and/or news publishing via SharePoint (or other intranet platforms)
Demonstrated experience developing and delivering Internal Communications strategies.
Experience in influencing and negotiating with a range of stakeholders.
Ability to work autonomously and to prioritise work with competing deadlines.
Ability to exercise sound judgement, including proven integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
