Internal Communications Officer
Permanent/ Full Time
Monday to Friday, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
$88,066 - $93,671 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 4) + Superannuation

Your new role
Are you a natural storyteller ready to shape the narrative of a dynamic organization? Do you thrive on crafting compelling stories that captivate and connect? Council is seeking a strong communicator experienced at creating and developing content for various audiences and coordinating a range of exciting communication projects that will inform and engage our diverse workforce.
You will have experience in the use of design software with skills preparing a range of documents including but not limited to staff newsletters, reports, information flyers and corporate messages.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

Creativity and experience developing innovative communications via multiple platforms.

Application Criteria
Demonstrated ability to research and prepare impactful Internal Communications, tailoring messages for diverse audiences within strict timeframes using various mediums.
Experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders showcasing engagement, understanding, and collaboration skills.
Strong creative skills with experience in using various graphic design tools to develop dynamic, visually appealing communications and documents.
Project management and organisational skills including the ability to manage diverse tasks and ensuring completion within established timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards.
