Job Summary

Dreamfarm is looking for a driven sales professional who will execute an international sales strategy for their designated region that aligns with Dreamfarm’s vision and brand values. Reporting to the Director of International Sales, this is a new role with the primary responsibility of developing existing export markets, finding new market opportunities, and exceeding sales targets. Essential Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director of Sales in setting sales objectives for international markets and manage existing and new customers and channels.
  • Monitor changing trends, economic indicators, and competitor brands.
  • Conducting market research to identify new business and product opportunities that meet the needs of your markets.
  • Establish effective relationships with customers and collaborations with cross functional departments (Marketing, Operations and Product Development etc.) to address key business opportunities.
  • Consult with our in-house Marketing team to ensure all markets have collateral, branding policies and in turn ensure Dreamfarm is best represented at a local level.
  • Gather, filter, and distribute sales information and product feedback to the Director of Sales.
  • Possess cultural awareness and understand the values, traditions, and business practices of your designated region.
  • Travel to international tradeshows an annual basis.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Must understand and be able to apply retail math to deliver profitable outcomes.
  • Must have experience in using different sales strategies to grow accounts with professionalism, and enthusiasm.
  • Must have executed the implementation and ongoing maintenance of long-term sales and marketing plans.
  • Must have exceptional organisational, communication and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to challenge and self-motivate to perform at a high level when working in a shared office environment.
  • Must have five (5) years sales experience working for a consumer brand.
  • Must have experience building proposals and making range recommendations.
  • It is advantageous to have experience in growing international markets and a history of onboarding both new and changing existing distributors. 
  • Have experience working with market leading retailers in Australia and overseas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is preferable.
