Inventory Controller is responsible for ensuring inventory integrity by working closely with third party contract logistics partner (3PL) and internal stakeholders. Reporting to Supply Chain Program Manager ANZ, you will be key liaison between 3PL and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
This role’s core responsibility is ensuring tight inventory control to help serve patients and caregivers across Australia & New Zealand. Preferred candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and welcome opportunities for continuous improvement.
Work closely with 3PL and internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve inventory issues.
Responsible for stock transactions including but not limited to; transfer between branch plants, stock conversions and write offs.
Provide 3PL with weekly cycle counts. Investigate and resolve any variances.
Lead weekly review of shared registers with 3PL ensuring timely actions are taken to deliver outcomes to customers.
Monthly review of Excess & Obsolete with goal to reduce inventory.
Provide end of month stock on hand report and reconcile any variances.
Participate in MBR with 3PL partner and review and correct EDI errors between ERPs & 3PL WMS
Manage and Lead inventory audits in conjunction with Finance partners.
Regular review and disposition of quarantined stock in conjunction with Quality Assurance partners.
Coordinate ad-hoc warehouse activities with 3PL.
About You
To be successful in this role problem solving and critical thinking skills are required. This role will be suitable for someone who has experience in stock management.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in stock management environment
Systems savvy with experience in SAP and JDE. Not essential but preferred.
Tertiary qualified with an Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in Business or related discipline
Problem solving and Results driven
Strong communication skills and People management
