About the role- Based in Keilor Park, VIC 3042

- Part Time Position for 6 months - 3/4 days/week
The CommTel Rapid Site Solutions (RSS) Business Unit has developed a portfolio of communications infrastructure products including containerized hardened equipment shelters for harsh environments, radio towers, power systems, batteries,and telemetry in the mining, emergency services, rail, and oil & gas sectors.
Reporting to the General Manager of RSS, the Inventory Assistant role is accountable to work closely with the Service Delivery Manager.
The role is also responsible to assist and support RSS tasks including purchasing, invoice preparation, document management, data entry, reporting and general admin support.
In this role, you will….- Track and coordinate progress of ordered items.
- Prepare reports in excel.
- Update the inventory tracker.
- Maintain a record of free issue items.
- Prepare purchase requisitions.
- Provide support for customer purchase order reconciliation.
- Perform data entry into spreadsheet & applications.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel & Word
- Previous experience in inventory management and data entry
- Attention to detail
- Strong communications
- Proactive and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Experience in Manufacturing.
