Job Opportunity: Investment Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
As an Investment Accountant, you will be responsible for the meticulous accounting and reporting of all allocated private market investments. Working closely with the Senior Investment Accountants and under the guidance of the Manager, Investment Accounting, your key tasks will include:
- Analysis and Review: Manage an allocation of investment managers, monitor reporting deliverables, review valuation information, and ensure consistency with Fund policies.
- Accounting and Reconciliation: Handle capital call and distribution accounting, reconcile custodian processing, and review private markets reporting system.
- Financial Reporting: Review quarterly and annual financial statements, reconcile fee reconciliations, and liaise with investment managers on accounting or reporting issues.
- Monthly/Annual Reporting: Oversee daily review of Investment Accounting email inbox, record keeping for inter-entity loans, assist in collation of management and performance fees, and participate in month-end accounting processes.
- Compliance and Governance: Prepare various government reports, reconcile general ledger accounts, assist in preparation of GST returns, and ensure compliance with legal documentation for performance fee calculations.
- Skills and Competencies: CA/CPA qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, experience with custodian accounting systems, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
