The Opportunity:
Key Responsibilities:
As the Manager, Investment Operations, you will:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Investment Operations business processes and drive optimal outcomes through process evaluation, requirement anticipation, and solution implementation.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring business needs are understood and documented throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create and maintain high-quality project documentation, including requirements documents and implementation plans.
- Prioritize and manage a pipeline of business requests based on criticality and value.
- Chair Investment Ops LT prioritization forums, presenting recommendations and managing team administration.
- Coordinate impact assessment and solutioning workshops, providing insights from a technological design perspective.
- Establish and maintain Investment Operations testing standards for technology deliverables and conduct post-implementation reviews.
About You:
To excel in this role, you will possess:
- Tertiary qualification in finance, economics, or related disciplines (highly regarded).
- Proficiency in a wide range of applications and technology solutions including MS Office, PowerPlatform, Python, and Sequel.
- Experience in institutional funds management, industry, or superannuation funds, along with extensive project experience performing business analysis responsibilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Strong judgment, methodical problem-solving skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- High attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- A proactive approach to tasks and issues, with a commitment to quality deliverables and best practices.
