Your new role
• Provide technical support and assistance with the installation, maintenance, and configuration of telecommunications & collaboration technologies across M sites.
• Maintain, upgrade and develop the AV systems across the M offices, including participating and running projects to expand current AV systems or deploy new systems/locations.
• Apply well developed specialist skills to implement strategies for the effective management of telephony, audio/visual architecture and solutions, meeting room solutions in line with organisational needs.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with IT vendors and suppliers. Manage service level agreements (SLAs) and stay informed about industry trends to make informed recommendations on AV technologies.
• Refine, develop, and explore new opportunities in collaboration technologies, meeting rooms solutions and audio/visual architecture in line with IT policies, procedures, and systems.
• Collaboratively work with internal and external IT stakeholders to resolve end-user issues related to unified communications and collaboration technologies within agreed service expectations.
• Lead the installations of video conference and other collaboration technologies at MCC sites by coordinating with internal IT contacts and external vendors.
What you'll need to succeed
Relevant tertiary qualifications with several years of subsequent relevant experience or lesser formal qualifications with extensive relevant experience.
• Foundation level certificate in ITIL.
• Experience in working with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and support of IT assets.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues across a range of agreed AV asset products and services.
• Experience in the management and working with video conferencing technologies e.g., WebEx, Skype, and Cisco Telepresence Server & Microsoft Teams).
• Current valid Victorian Drivers Licence
• Experience in IT service delivery methodologies including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
