Your New Employer:

Your new role:

You'll report to an inspirational CFO who values technology with a dotted line to the CEO. You'll sit on the ELT and will be board facing and responsible for the leadership of all technology across the organisation. The business has been growing strongly over the last two years with technology solutions becoming increasingly important to the delivery of projects and winning new business. To continue maximising shareholder returns and growth, a complete transformation of IT is required (people, systems, processes and vendors).

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing the current IT environment and developing/implementing an IT vision and 'roadmap' that is fit for purpose and aligned with business goals and initiatives;
• Transforming the current internal IT team and vendor partnerships (currently 12 internal but will grow substantially);
• Enhancing IT service delivery and overall experience for key stakeholder groups including employees and customers;
• Overseeing the development of a modern technical environment (networks, hardware, cloud services, SaaS applications) to ensure optimal performance in terms of accessibility, security, stability, reliability, responsiveness and support;
• Overseeing the management and delivery of successful technology change projects and expected benefits;
• Actively monitoring emerging technologies and identifying innovation opportunities; and
• Actively identifying and managing technology risks and regulatory compliance, ensuring robust governance frameworks, reporting systems and protections are in place.

Your background and experience:

• Minimum of five years' experience and track record of success in a similar IT Director or CIO role;
• You will be a competent, focused and collaborative IT leader who has successfully renewed IT teams through change and transition. You will have been a similar journey previously taking an IT function from the perception of a poor performing cost centre to a strategic enabler;
• You'll be an inspirational servant leader that empowers and develops their staff and influences results through stakeholder credibility and trust;
• You will have strong business acumen with proven experience working with your executive peers to drive technology solutions that enable their functions and helps win more customers through enhanced experiences;
• You will enjoy building relationships with internal stakeholders and will possess high levels of personal integrity; and
• Above all else, you will have a friendly, positive attitude with high levels of emotional intelligence and maturity.
