Our client is a Civil Construction organisation based in Richmond, Melbourne. With over 20 years of experience, they pride themselves on being able to deliver projects on time and on budget.

The team is growing and have a healthy pipeline of projects across Melbourne. To support this growth, they currently have an opportunity available for someone to join them in the role of IT Helpdesk & Support Technician. This is a Level 1 role providing Helpdesk/IT End User Support.

Reporting to the IT Manager and working closely with the broader business, The role will see you supporting a wide range of activities across the IT spectrum. An opportunity for an individual to join the team and assist in the coordination of our plant/equipment and services across all our clients sites. 

  • Dynamic Role: Focusing on helping end users get the best out of their systems, setting up Hardware and guiding our staff with IT support.
  • Maturing Business: As the business comes into the enterprise space be in a key role to build IT processes and methodologies.
  • Travel to sites across Melbourne: Civil Construction Company with projects across Victoria
  • On-going training: Improve your skillset to meet the challenges of your role.
  • Convenient Location: Head Office based in Richmond
About you:
You will have worked in an internal IT team and have experiences across the following selection criteria -
  • Circa 3+ years within a similar IT role.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience 
  • Advantages to bring experience working in a civil construction environment / similar industry 
  • Experience with M-Files Administration a huge bonus.
  • Can work solo on assigned tasks or as part of a team.
  • Experience with working with external vendors.
  • Happy to be given a challenge where you will use your strong analytical skills & attention to detail to find a solution & present an action plan
  • Experience in balancing multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Working as part of a small collaborative team in a helpdesk/end-user support function.
  • Experience setting up Hardware - laptops, phones, tablets for users
  • Experience managing users in the Microsoft 365 Stack including Azure Domain environments
  • BAU incident tickets, new user IT onboarding, and some light training.

  • Have correct working rights 
  • Be based in Melbourne 
  • Be happy to go into the office 3-4 times a week (Richmond based) + be happy to travel to project sites around Melbourne occasionally.
