Job description


The key purpose of this role is to be a key member of the Information Technologies support team. The role is responsible for effectively responding to daily helpdesk queries and supporting the School community to use a wide array of ICT equipment and applications. The role will liaise with students, staff, parents and guardians in relation to both specific School resources and general helpdesk support enquiries. The role will also work on ICT projects as required.

This role is ongoing, full-time and immediate commencement.

The successful applicant must have:

  • Have experience supporting Audio/Visual solutions within classroom, performance and/or event spaces.
  • Have relevant and demonstrated previous experience in a similar role.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of computer operating systems.
  • Possess good understanding of computer hardware, drivers, network operating environments, Microsoft Networking, and printing equipment.
  • Have experience with upgrading computer hardware.
  • Have experience installing and working with Windows, iOS, MacOS as well as Microsoft Office and a range of academic software.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and document and maintain records in an accurate, logical, and accessible manner.
  • Provide exceptional service and support experiences to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have high level communication skills.
  • Can work independently but also as part of a dynamic, creative, and collaborative team.
  • Be willing to be involved in all aspects of the School’s program.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to following the School’s child safety expectations, principles and policies.
