This role will be based onsite in Beechworth, Victoria.
Position Objective
Our IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing Billson's IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of all technology systems. This includes managing a team of IT team, implementing and maintaining hardware and software solutions, and providing technical support to staff members.
Responsibilities
You will be accountable for the following key responsibilities:
- Manage the IT department and supervise the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of Billson's data and systems.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, network installations, and software implementations.
- Monitor and maintain Billson’s through third party provider 1IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and telecommunications systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the IT industry.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT products and services.
- Develop and maintain IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal resource allocation.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with IT policies and industry regulations.

Position Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and best practices.
- Proficiency in network administration, security protocols, and data backup/recovery.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus
