Winning these awards only makes us want to improve and develop further, and to continue this success, Patterson Cheney is now recruiting an IT Manager based in Keysborough.
This is a hands-on position with a key focus on providing technical support for internal employees in a timely and accurate manner.
About the role:
- IT Operations- Take overall responsibility for the effective design, implementation and ongoing operations of all IT services, including platforms, networks, infrastructure, telephony, remote working tools, end-user computing, collaboration tools, websites, software, licences applications, business intelligence, and cyber security.
- Strategic objectives- Lead development of the IT strategy and roadmap to ensure delivery of IT services while fostering a culture of innovation.
- Performing IT infrastructure support and configuration tasks
- Supporting IT projects and producing high-quality system documentation
- Identifying and resolving any equipment or software issues
- Troubleshooting and resolving problems independently. Ensuring issues are documented and appropriate long-term resolutions are put in place
- Ensuring a fundamental understanding of software (servers, firewalls and core IT infrastructure) and hardware
- Manage after-hours support, Projects and Application Support to implement production system changes outside business hours where required.
- Project Management- Lead the implementation of various IT projects and IT deliverables within business-led projects and initiatives as defined by the CFO and Executive Leadership Team.
- Cyber Security- Accountable for cybersecurity strategy and delivery, including compliance and certification with industry and regulatory frameworks
- Budget / Financial Management- Develop and maintain the IT budget and ensure expenditure is kept within approved limits.

Who we’re looking for:
- Minimum 3 Years experience leading a team and influencing at a senior leadership level with strong communication skills.
- Highly motivated professional who upholds high standards and always strives to improve technology environments.
- Degree qualified, bachelor's highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of security practices and principles, including security and control standards and frameworks.
- Managing external service providers, be exceptionally strong around contractual agreements.
- Demonstrated project management capability with strong time management skills and ability to run multiple complex projects throughout the organisation.
- Technical 'know-how' with a commercial, customer-first approach.
- ERP delivery experience would be highly preferred.
- Ability to maintain a positive culture to support our team.
