The Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance & IT Manager the IT Officer will be responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless technical support, and driving continuous improvement in our systems and processes.
This is an permanent full-time role, based in our head office in Arndell Park.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide comprehensive IT technical support to users, ensuring efficient resolution of issues.
- Ensure the efficient operation of internet and telecommunications by troubleshooting issues and coordinating with third-party service providers.
- Evaluate, develop, and implement enhancements to the company’s Oracle NetSuite ERP system, along with future systems as required.
- Assist in data entry and problem-solving within the ERP and other systems, creating saved searches and custom reports.
- Manage the procurement of computer hardware, ensuring compatibility, competitive pricing, and timely assembly and repair of PCs, laptops, and other IT equipment.
- Oversee the allocation, documentation, and maintenance of the IT asset register, including the collection and access termination of IT equipment for departing employees.
- Diagnose and resolve errors/performance issues in devices, providing effective solutions.
- Install and set up monitors, monitor arms, keyboards, mice, docking stations, and other required equipment for new users.
- Repair, assemble, test and configure hardware
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite ERP system or similar ERP systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience creating custom reports and templates.
