The Role

The Town of Port Hedland is inviting passionate and skilled individuals to apply for the position of IT Officer, reporting directly to the Senior IT Officer. As the frontline for IT support services, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical expertise to our employees and esteemed Elected Members. This position involves offering specialised guidance on hardware, peripherals, and software-related matters, making it an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

• Diploma or higher in Information Technology or related discipline
• National Police Clearance
• Current 'C' class driver's licence
• Rights to work in Australia
