And now, we are looking for an IT Support Analyst to provide comprehensive support for our Warehouse and Retail teams on day-to-day IT issues. As the IT Support Analyst, you are responsible for efficiently managing and rectifying all IT related issues via JD Sports ticketing system to ensure seamless Warehouse and in-Store Operations.
This role will be based out of our Homebush Distribution Centre, reporting into the Head of Supply Chain.
As the IT Support Analyst, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Warehouse Support
  • Assist warehouse staff with all aspects of technology within the warehouse environment.
  • Assist users with PC for Hardware and Windows O/S and software-based issues.
  • Provide administration of all warehouse applications in support of the day to day running of the warehouse operations.
  • Work with the IT Team to maintain a healthy warehouse operating environment.
  • Work with IT and the business to deliver Technology related projects within the warehouse environment.
  • Identify and rectify any network related issues.
  • Fix issues in a timely manner and where required escalate to second level support.
  • Manage all mobility devices within the warehouse including mobile scanners and printers.
  • Setup and configure corporate applications such as dotWMS and external SaaS based applications in support of warehouse operations.
Store Support
  • Solve technical issues relating to instore equipment, Point of Sale, Store Computers, Footwear Ordering Equipment, Store Network LAN, WIFI, and Internet, Telecommunication, mobile Apple and Android devices.
  • Setup of new stores, Computer Setup, Software Install, Intune Enrolment, Network Setup LAN and Wifi, EFTPOS, Point of Sale Software and Footwear Ordering.
  • Provide 1st Level Software Support for instore applications; DEPOSIT POS, ISP, EFTPOS, Smartstore, and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Coordinate the repairing of physical hardware between vendors and stores.
  • Escalate issues to second level support in a timely manner where resolution where required.
  • Perform after hours support for stores on a rotating basis with the wider IT team.
All IT Services
  • Log and manage tickets in Jira Service Management.
  • Escalate issues to second level support in a timely manner where resolution where required.
  • Manage parts inventory for IT assets including managing asset registry.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Provide Incident and Problem Management
  • Document support Processes to share within team and broader business.
  • Develop training content for end users including stores
  • Identify process and technical improvements for the benefit of the business
Who You Are
  • Minimum two years' experience in a similar technical support role
  • Previous experience within a Warehouse Environment is desirable, but not essential
  • Previous experience within Retail industry is desirable, but not essential
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, OS and software issues.
  • Experience with Network configuration and support.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Ideally systems experience with Island Pacific Dolfin (ERP) / DPOSIT (POS) or similar.
  • Experience \ Accreditation with Microsoft Office365 and Intune.
  • Experience with 3CX or similar IP Phone Technology
  • Experience with Service Management Solutions, incident management, asset management
