The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Level 2 technician to join our team.
In this busy role, you will deliver quality customer service and onsite technical support to small & medium size businesses in the south-eastern suburbs.
You will be an "all-rounder" primarily delivering remote support, but also onsite support and project work.
Whilst we have a broad range of clients, most of the systems are similar in design. Your task will be to ensure the systems are well maintained and as secure as possible.
With your fluent communication skills, you will enjoy building long term relationships where your expertise is valued.
About you
You will have at least 3 years' commercial experience in a similar hands-on technical support role. Communication in this role is paramount. Your ability to re-phrase technical information to non-technical clients as well as written communication skills will be one of your strengths.
You will be supported by our team and in return our team will be looking to you to support them.
To be successful, you will have
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN's
- Network security expertise
- In-depth experience with MS Servers
- Expertise with AD and Microsoft Exchange
- In-depth knowledge of Office 365 administration
- A thorough understanding of Virtualisation Technologies (VMware and Microsoft Hyper)
You will pride yourself on your outstanding customer service skills and professional presentation. A driver's license is essential, as is the ability to work autonomously.
