Role Overview: 

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Support Engineer to join our team. The Support Engineer will provide technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and smooth operations of computer systems, networks, and software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for solving problems.

This will be a hybrid role based in Melbourne, with you working from Home, Our Office or onsite at our client offices in Melbourne and Geelong, interstate travel is required from time to time. 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and technical support requests.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by customers.
  • Provide timely and effective resolution to customer problems, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Performing technical support of servers, network and hardware.
  • Document and track customer interactions and issue resolutions in our PSA system.
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and other support resources to assist customers with self-service troubleshooting.
  • Assist with projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience of at least 2+ years as an ICT Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting the following technologies: Microsoft - Windows Server, Office 365, Windows 10-11, Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare, and Cloud technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
