About the role.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the IT Support Officer is required to administer and maintain applications, desktops, mobile devices, network equipment and phone systems. You will be responsible for the staff support Helpdesk, ensuring excellent customer service and accurate data entry to the system. Applicants must be located in Hobart, Tasmania.

- Building and maintaining effective relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure organisation requirements are met
- Working a flexible schedule with regular out of hours work required due to the operational nature of this role and this work may be scheduled or un-scheduled

- Ensuring activities comply with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, legal demands, and professional and ethical standards
- Taking reasonable care for your own personal health and safety and the safety of others in the workplace (e.g. Staff members, visitors, contractors, and members of the public).
Who are we looking for?
We want people with spirit! We are looking for:
- College or vocational training in IT related subject
- Knowledge of desktop and mobile devices support and maintenance (Windows, iOS and Android)
- Knowledge of standard productivity and business applications (Microsoft Office, Adobe, Antivirus etc.)
- Previous experience in IT support or IT retail
- Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines and high volumes of work
- Very high level of confidentiality, discretion, and judgement
- Commitment to, and enthusiasm for, client service and delivery
- Ability to manage conflict, negotiate and always maintain professionalism.
