We are currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our West Perth Corporate Office. This is a permanent position offered on 4 days on, 3 days off roster.

The successful candidate will be able to:
- Provide MS Exchange and Active Directory user administration;
- Maintain/create user system accounts and access rights;
- Configure, test and roll out standard operating environment to desktops and laptops;
- Provide scheduled maintenance checks and reports;
- Liaise with 3rd party providers, including the outsourced help desk;
- Enter purchase requisitions and service entries into Pronto;
- Maintain security and confidentiality required to operate the computer network;
- Maintain asset register;
- Install applications, updates and patches to user systems;
- Bugfix and issue resolution for operational systems, including reports and integrations;
- Advise and provide recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities in work processes and contribute to the implementation of endorsed improvement initiatives;
- Ensure users are kept up-to-date regarding the status of issues they have raised or any services disruptions that may impact their work.
What we are looking for:
- Relevant Tafe qualification or similar (Degree in Computer Science preferred);
- 2 + years experience working in a Microsoft Windows Environment;
- 2 + years experience working with LAN and WAN network technologies Advanced Microsoft Windows skills;
- Strong experience with Computer Network Technologies;
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Environment, LAN technologies, Microsoft Windows Office Product Suite.
Candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria which includes a medical, drug and alcohol screening, hold a valid manual driver’s licence and a valid National Police Clearance.
