Cleared is working with a pioneering technology company in the Australian Defence Industry and looking to speak to a NV1 IT Support Specialist based in Brisbane!

The client is one of the leading providers of vision-based AI systems, who combine computer vision, AI-enabled geospatial data analytics, and AI augmented decision support to revolutionize the connected battlefield.

As an IT Support Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of Defence AI, ensuring the systems remain online and up to date with the latest in AI software development.

Your role will involve supporting AI training servers, managing Edge compute devices, and maintaining typical business technologies like Microsoft 365, Meraki networking equipment, and Windows servers.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional technical support to our team of scientists, engineers, and developers.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical users.

Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals.

Utilize problem-solving skills to find creative solutions to technical challenges.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and continuously enhance your skills.

Maintain a positive attitude and go the extra mile for customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in helpdesk or technical support roles.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including email, file storage, and collaboration tools.

Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and process improvement.

Familiarity with Meraki or equivalent networking equipment.
Experience configuring and maintaining desktop and server hardware installations.

Knowledge of virtualization platforms like Hyper-V and supporting Windows operating systems.

Experience working with Active Directory.

Beneficial Additional Skills:

NV1 Security clearance level.
