IT Support Specialist
Apollo is a forward-thinking medium-sized construction company with a commitment to leveraging technology for operational excellence.
Role:
The IT Support Specialist will be a key player providing 1st and 2nd Line support to our staff. This role is designed for a highly autonomous individual who can manage day-to-day IT operations and escalate complex issues to our third-party Managed Service Provider (MSP) as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1st and 2nd Line IT support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support within the company, escalating to the MSP when higher-level expertise is required.
- Support and manage Office 365 applications, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration.
- Maintain and troubleshoot issues with laptops and the virtual desktop environments (Citrix).
- Ensure IT service continuity across 2 main office locations and approx. 20 site locations.
- Liaise with external IT vendors and our MSP to resolve escalated issues.
- Support the company’s tech stack, including JobPac, Procore, SignonSite, Sharepoint, PowerBI, Salesforce
- Implement IT policies and systems to align with strategic business goals.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in similar IT support roles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Experience with the Office 365 suite and cloud services.
Knowledge of JobPac(*), Procore(*), SignonSite(*), Sharepoint, PowerBI, Salesforce
- Understanding of IT security, data backup, and recovery strategies.
- Great organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
- CompTIA A+ / CompTIA Network+
Working Conditions:
- Occasional travel to various company sites may be required.
- Working hours 7:30am - 4pm
