The Role
Are you ready to dive into the dynamic realm of Information Communication Technology (ICT) and kickstart your career journey? The Town of Port Hedland is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an IT Trainee to join our team on a 2-year fixed term contract. As an IT Trainee, you'll work closely with seasoned ICT Officers, providing vital day-to-day support while pursuing a Certificate III in Information Technology Support.
In this role, you'll be the go-to person for all ICT-related queries, ensuring prompt and efficient assistance to our diverse workforce. From responding to help-desk enquiries with professionalism to assisting in system administration tasks and infrastructure maintenance, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- A passion for Information Communication Technology and a desire to learn and grow.
- National Police Clearance
- Current 'C' class driver's license
- Rights to work in Australia
