About your next role
We currently have an opportunity for a Junior Accountant to join our finance department, with a commencement date starting as soon as possible. You will be an integral member of the finance department and will assist the team to achieve their goals. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to grow with a company that is expanding by the minute, where no one day is the same.
What you will be doing:
Duties include but will not be limited to the following;
- Accounts receivable, invoicing and customer management
- Bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing credit card expenditure and accoutning for such
- Assisting with month end close
- Intercompany recharges
- Various reporting
- Assisting the Finance Manager with budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis
- Any additional duties as issued by the Finance Manager
Who are we lookingfor?
- Accounting degree qualified at a minimum
- CA / CPA qualifications desirable
- Experience with various accounting programs is favourable (Such as Databuild, Xero, MYOB)
- Having worked in the construction industry would be highly advantageous
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to review, analyse and interpret financial information
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Excellent knowledge of general accounting practices
- Working knowledge of accounting and tax
- An exceptional eye for detail and ability to problem solve
