Form of workWe are a small fashion accessories company who currently supplies a number of retailers with fashion accessories, we have a small but prosperous business and currently our online business is growing at a fast rate.
We are looking for a Junior Buyer that has numerous years' experience in buying and developing products, ideally in handbags, jewellery, and/or cosmetics.
Based in in the inner suburbs of Melbourne.
This exciting role in a start-up business is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join a new business in its infancy as the individual will grow quickly in their role and will gain a vast amount of experience from the current team.
The Buyer will be responsible for:
- Building and buying set ranges
- Sourcing product samples and negotiating best prices with suppliers
- Ensuring that all internal and external email communication is responded to in 24-48 hours
- Understanding of current global trends
- Complete tasks on time and accurately as required
- Create and prepare PowerPoint presentations and meet required deadlines
- Ensure full data integrity is maintained at all times
- Maintain a clean and tidy environment for the team
- Any other tasks that the business requires
